Our most recent Ofsted inpsection was carried out in September 2016. Oftsed agreed that we provide a good education for all of our pupils.

Many strengths of our school were identified:

  • School leaders provide a safe, caring environment for the pupils in the school.
  • Pupils, typically, demonstrate good attitudes and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Parents say that school is a safe place and that their children enjoy coming to school.
  • Leaders manage the performance of teachers well to ensure continuous improvement. Consequently, the quality of teaching is good.
  • Children in Reception have positive attitudes to their learning. They are proud of their work and they cooperate well with each other.
  • Current pupils in the school are making good progress and achieve well across a range of subjects.
  • Teachers have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour. As a result, pupils are polite and respectful and standards of behaviour around all areas of the school are good.
  • Governors know the school well. They offer senior leaders good levels of support and hold them to account effectively.
