Homework tasks 14/7/17

Year 2 Homework - due never!

We've worked incredibly hard this year and I'm really proud of you all. There won't be any more homework for the rest of this academic year, but I've made some suggestions of activities that will help the step up to the juniors.

Reading: The class have taken their placement test for Reading Eggspress this week, so are ready to access the right level of lessons and books for them individually. A letter today has explained a Summer Reading Challenge, so I hope that Year 2 made a good go at achieving Gold or even Platinum!

Spelling: The Year 3/4 common exception word list that was sent home a couple of weeks ago would be a good place to start for any spelling practice.

Maths: More practical units of maths could be easily practiced over the summer - telling the time, money, measuring and shapes are around us daily so a couple of quick questions would be a big benefit.
