PE & Sport Premium
The government is determined to secure a significant and lasting legacy from the very successful 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games that were held in London. In order to achieve this and improve the provision of P.E. and sport in primary schools additional funding of £150 million per annum has been made available. Recently, the government also announced that the sports premium would be doubled this academic year, and hopefully again in future years.
At Weston Primary School we believe sport plays a crucial role contributing to the health and wellbeing of our children. We also believe that a broad, balanced P.E curriculum develops a sense of personal achievement, fair play and teamwork.
