Homework tasks 7/7/17

Year 2 Homework - due by Wednesday 12th July

Maths: The Mathletics task for this week is 'How Heavy?' - we may only have few lessons left to learn about mass, so this activity will really help. Move the items onto the scales and then use the 'dial' to read the number which shows the weight of each one.

Reading: As well as reading your books at home for fluency, your accounts for Reading Eggs have been reactivated so I'd like you to carry on using 'Reading Eggs' at home. A letter will be coming home before we break up to explain 'Reading Eggspress' which develops comprehension and understanding.

Spelling: Please continue practicing the common exception words from the list for a last spelling test next week. After this, it would be helpful for you to start trying to practice the Year 3 common exception list.

*Update: The words commonly misspelt this week were: 'whole', 'improve' and 'again'.
