The Flower - Storytelling

Last half term, we used a brillaint book by John Light called the 'The Flower.' We used the book as a stimulus for our descriptive writing and the children enjoyed it so much that we even wrote our own stories based on it. 

In literacy, we were focusing on using different sentence openers, adjectives and sentence types to improve our writing. We used Adobe Spark Video to create a retelling of the story. I'm so proud of the children for all of the effort they put into these videos and the stories. They were fantastic!
