We began the year using Jennifer Berne's 'Manfish' as a stimulus for our writing. We studied lots of interesting topics across the curriculum. Check out our medium term plan for more information.
Last half term, we used 'Can we Save the Tiger?' as our core text. Check out our medium term plan for more information.
In Spring, we will be starting a term -long study on World War I and II. We will be using Jo Hoestlandt's 'Star of Fear, Star of Hope' as a stimulus for our writing, which ties in well with our World War II topic.
In Spring 2, our literacy text will be Jason Chin's 'The Island', which links back to our science study on evolution and conservation. For more information about what we will be learning about, see the topic map below.
