Anglo Saxon Brooches

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 4 Year: 2018 - 2019

During our study of the Anglo Saxons, we found out about Saxon clothing and jewelry, in particular, Brooches. We looked at existing Saxon designs and used them as inspiration for our own designs.

First we sketched out designs before sculpting them from clay. Finally, we decorated them using metallic paint. Check out the gallery to see our finished Saxon brooches.
