Beowulf Sketches

Class: Year 4 Year: 2018 - 2019

As part of our work on our class text, Beowulf, we were learning about portraits. We focused on the hero of the story, Beowulf.

Throughout our art unit, we tried to create portraits of Beowulf in lots of different ways. We created portraits using natural materials in forest school then moved onto pencil sketches. Finally, during ICT, we combined our sketches with digital images using Adobe Photoshop. Check out the gallery and look at the finished pieces.
