Let Battle Commence!

Lesson: History

This half term in literacy we’ve been learning to write persuasive Battle Cries while we've been learning about the Romans. The evil Emperor Claudius tried to invade Weston Village and leaders were needed to take stand. Luckily, Year 3 stepped up to persuade the people of Weston to fight to protect the village.

The children have worked incredibly hard and they are extremely proud of these videos and so they should be. They’re brilliant! We looked at good examples, ‘magpied’ ideas and tried to write our own before filming them using a green screen. We hope you enjoy them!
