Ofsted Reports
Our most recent Ofsted Inspection was carried out in October 2021. Ofsted's overall judgement was that we are a good school.
The report itself has many positives for us to be proud of, such as:
- The children feel happy, safe and enjoy each other’s company
- The children work hard during lessons
- The children behave well during lessons and at playtimes
- The children enjoy responsibilities given, such as school council, play buddies etc.
- Relationships are strong
- Children are confident the staff will take good care of them
- Our children said that bullying is something that rarely happens, and they trusted staff to resolve matters if it did
- Leaders have high expectations
- Children develop into enthusiastic learners-they concentrate well and don’t give up
- Staff read regularly with children and encourage them to develop a love of reading
- The children experience a broad reading curriculum
- Leaders are quick to identify children who may have special educational needs and ensure these children have full access to the curriculum
- Leaders prioritise pupil well-being and nurture
- Governors are reflective and thoughtful about their work
- Parents are highly supportive of the school
- Arrangements for Safeguarding children are effective.
